Long term Old Trafford target could be on the market.
Manchester United target Ganso has turned down a new contract offer from Santos.
The Brazilian midfielder, who has also been linked with Chelsea, Barcelona, Real Madrid and the two Milan clubs, was not impressed by what was on offer.
“I didn’t like the offer, I thought they would offer something better,” the 22-year-old told reporters.
“Regardless of that, you have to keep your cool to play football and let things happen naturally.
“I don’t know what can happen, only God knows it. I hope I can remain calm to keep playing football.”

Sir Alex Ferguson may well be looking to strengthen his central midfield options this summer and a move for Santos youngster Ganso may have more likelihood of succeeding now that the Brazilian international has turned down his side’s latest contract offer.
The 22 year old rangy midfielder is considered one of the hottest prospects in South America and is now a regular in Brazil’s senior national team set-up. Ferguson has scouted the youngster previously and may feel this an opportune time to re-ignite interest in the Santos man.
With Michael Carrick getting on in years and Paul Scholes even more so the introduction of a youthful midfield option could be timely, not least because Darren Fletcher is still to recover from illness and Anderson appears to have fallen out of favour with Ferguson, being linked with a possible move away from Man United this summer.
Santos are sure to demand a big fee for Ganso but may consider offers for the Belem born starlet whilst trying to keep hold of their most prized asset, Neymar.
