Uruguayan staying in Italy.
Napoli forward Edison Cavani has ruled out a move to the Premier League, reports the Daily Mirror.
The Uruguayan front man has insisted he wants to stay in the Serie A, dashing the hopes of big-spending Manchester City and Chelsea.
The 6’2″ striker has scored 66 goals in 94 league games for Napoli making him one of the most sought after hit-men in Europe.
Napoli sold his strike partner Ezequiel Lavezzi to PSG over the weekend, prompting suggestions that Cavani would follow the Argentine out of the door.
But the 25-year-old dismissed speculation, confirming: “There is no doubt about my future – it is in Naples,” he said. “My future is to stay in Naples, where I’m very well. What happens next will be seen.”
