Fulham forward to exchange Craven Cottage for The Kop?
Liverpool are rumoured to have signed the American striker from Fulham in a move to try and replace reportedly exit bound forward Andy Carroll.
After Brendan Rogers was left disappointed at being beaten to the signing of Gylfi Sigurdsson by Spurs, has he finally found the added goal-threat that Liverpool are so desperately missing?
This means that surely Carroll is on his way out despite no takers for the £20m price tag that the club have put on his head. Although the signing has not been confirmed by Anfield, according to a video posted on the Fenway Sports Group Site it claims that the Fulham forward has already joined Liverpool on their North American Tour.
The 29-year-old has impressed at Craven Cottage, both as a striker or attacking midfielder, netting 22 goals in all competitions last term.
The report on FSG’s official website has confused many, as these contradictory tweets from the BBC Sport’s Twitter account confirm.
