Turkish side keen on Moroccan international who may well not have much of an Emirates Stadium future.
Besiktas interested in loan move for Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh
Besiktas have expressed interest in securing a loan move for Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh according to Turkish newspaper, Milliyet.
The proposed deal would see Chamakh join the Istanbul club on a loan deal with an undisclosed purchase option.
Chamakh is unlikely to feature in Arsene Wenger’s plans following two poor seasons and falling further down the pecking order with the signing of Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud.

This may well be an offer Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger opts to accept. The Moroccan international has been something of a disaster signing for the North London club, managing just one Premier League goal in his last 18 months at the Emirates Stadium.
Perhaps a loan move could help the former Bordeaux man reignite a career that could well further stagnate on the Gunners bench now that the likes of Olivier Giroud and Lukas Podolski has been brought in to beef up numbers up front.
Arsene Wenger may well be looking to trim his squad further this summer as he looks to garner funds to make additional moves in the transfer market and removing Chamakh’s reported £60k a week salary off the wage bill may be a good way to balance the books.
Manuel Almunia has already been released and Carlos Vela has completed a £6m move to Real Sociedad and others look set to follow as Wenger conducts a squad clear-out.
