Host of top clubs eyeing Scot.
Huddersfield Town manager Simon Grayson has admitted that star striker Jordan Rhodes will be sold for the right price, with Manchester United, Spurs and Newcastle among the clubs interested in his signature.
Scotland international Rhodes scored 40 goals for the Yorkshire outfit last season, as they clinched promotion to the Championship via the playoffs and Aston Villa, Fulham and West Ham are also said to be keen on the 22-year-old.
Grayson has admitted that Rhodes will be sold for the right price but insists the offer but must a ‘serious’ one, reports London 24.
“Our stance hasn’t changed,” Grayson said. “It would take a serious offer to tempt us to sell.
“The chairman Dean Hoyle and I have spoken to Jordan about where we want the club to go. He’s happy with the situation and so are we.
“It’s business as usual. Jordan returned for pre-season and got straight down to work.”
Huddersfield are thought to value Rhodes at around the £7 million mark. Both Tottenham and Everton are in serious need of striking reinforcements, while Man United boss Sir Alex Ferguson may also be willing to take a punt on his compatriot.
