Anfield boss closing in on Premier League and Serie A talents.
Liverpool set to snap up £750k Wolves keeper De Vries before landing £15m Allen
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is poised to sign Wolves goalkeeper Dorus de Vries in a £750,000 deal.
The move for another former Swansea player comes as the Welsh club reacted angrily to details of midfielder Joe Allen’s contract clause becoming public.
Sportsmail revealed Liverpool are to sign Allen for £15million and the deal is to be completed after the Olympics.

£20m-rated Liverpool target Ramirez ‘in talks with Premier League club’
Uruguayan Olympian Gaston Ramirez is moving closer to a move to Liverpool after his agent admitted he was in talks with a Premier League club.
New Anfield boss Brendan Rodgers is keen to bolster his attacking options and the 21-year-old – who scored a sublime free-kick as Uruguay beat the United Arab Emirates 2-1 on Thursday – fits the bill perfectly.

Liverpool appear to be making ground in their chase for two long term targets who could well help greatly improve Brendan Rodgers’ Anfield squad.
Swansea City appear willing to do business with their former boss and Liberty Stadium manager Michael Laudrup has publicly stated that he would not prevent Joe Allen leaving the Welsh club if he really has his heart set on an exit from the club he has represented since the age of nine.
Moves to bring in Liverpool’s third Uruguayan international in the form of young attacking midfielder Gaston Ramirez are also moving apace and it does seem that Rodgers is being backed in the transfer market by Liverpool’s American owners, though perhaps the Merseyside club is looking to balance the books with a few more player sales.
Dirk Kuyt and Maxi Rodriguez has left and there is much talk of a possible exit for Andy Carroll that could well help beef up Liverpool’s transfer funds.
22 year old Allen would add a new dimension to Liverpool’s midfield and would also adhere to the club’s youthful transfer policy, as would Bologna’s Ramirez.
If Rodgers is to bring in further midfield reinforcements then perhaps the likes of Joe Cole and Alberto Aquilani will be offloaded to make room, though the new Liverpool boss had previously moved to state that both players had a future at the club despite being loaned out last season.
