AC and Inter enter race for midfielder star.
Arsenal are facing competition from both Internazionale and AC Milan for the signature of Turkish midfielder Nuri Sahin.
The 23-year-old is set to leave the Bernebeu this summer, after making just two league starts least season.
Sahin has been included in Los Blancos’ pre-season tour of the US but is likely to see opportunities further limited by Real’s pursuit of Tottenham’s Luka Modric and Axel Witsel of Benfica.
Reports last week suggested that Arsenal were in pole position to land Sahin on a season-long loan deal.
Sahin previously rejected a move to Arsenal’s north London rivals Spurs – after Real attempted to use him as a part of a deal for Modric – stating it was a ‘dream’ to play for the Spanish Champions. However, it is thought that boss Jose Mourinho has warned Sahin that he faces limited opportunities at Real, which has persuaded the Turkish international to consider a move.
But Italian website Calciomercatonews.com has claimed that both Milan clubs are showing an interest in the former Borussia Dortmund playmaker, who excelled during the Germans’ title-winning camopaign of 2010/11, before joining the La Liga giants.
Milan have cash to burn after selling Thiago Silva and Zlatan Ibrahimovic to mega-rich PSG, while Inter are also interested in revamping their side this summer.
