Terriers striker Ewood Park bound.
Blackburn homing in on £6m Huddersfield front man Rhodes
Blackburn are closing on a £6million deal for Huddersfield striker Jordan Rhodes.
The 22-year-old was given permission to hold talks at Ewood Park, after the two clubs agreed a fee, prior to appearing in last night’s friendly at Crewe.

Jordan Rhodes has been linked with a myriad of prospective suitors and in a way it’s a tad surprising that the Scottish international would leave Huddersfield for a fellow Championship side rather than moving into the top tier. Perhaps the 22 year old feels that Steve Kean is likely to steer Blackburn Rovers back into the Premier League.
The Terriers forward may feel that he has more chance of securing regular first team football at Ewood Park over any move into the Premier League.
The Oldham born marksman has netted 85 goals over the course of the last three seasons and helped Huddersfield to promotion into the Championship last season.
Kean has already brought in a fair few quality signings this summer with the likes of veterans Danny Murphy and Nuno Gomes being joined by Newcastle United forward Leon Best.
