Ryo my! Wigan make a move for Miyaichi as they prepare to sell Moses
Talks are underway about Arsenal’s teen forward spending a season on loan at Latics – whether or not they sell star to Chelsea
Latics manager Roberto Martinez is in talks to borrow Miyaichi, who showed pace and skill while on loan at Bolton during their doomed fight for Premier League survival last season, for the whole of the coming campaign.

Some Arsenal fans may have been under the impression that talented youngster Ryo Miyaichi would have featured in the Gunners first team this coming season but it appears that Arsene Wenger has other ideas. The Japanese international spent half a season on loan at Feyenoord in 2010/11 and then another half season at Bolton, the winger impressing in both spells.
A move to Wigan Athletic may well further Miyaichi’s Premier League education and this source claims Roberto Martinez is looking for a replacement for Victor Moses who may well be Chelsea bound and should the Nigerian leave for Stamford Bridge then the Arsenal man may well be guaranteed a first team spot at the Latics.
If Arsenal do complete a deal to sign Santi Cazorla then perhaps the chances of the 19 year old being sent out on loan will increase, likewise if Arsene Wenger opts to hold on to Andrei Arshavin this summer.
