Milan struggling to re-sign Brazilian.
Reports in Italy suggest that Milan are struggling to negotiate a deal with Real Madrid due to two economic barriers.
The Rossoneri’s Adriano Galliani was understood to be meeting with Real Madrid’s President Florentino Perez yesterday to discuss possible terms of the Brazilian’s return to San Siro.
However, reports today suggest that this meeting has been put back to Wednesday amid rising doubts over whether the two parties are able to reach common ground.
Galliani is believed to be pushing for a loan move, which the Spanish are increasingly reluctant to agree to. The player’s wage demands are also still thought to be immovable.

If there’s one deal that has the potential to get the transfer market moving, it’s this one.
Brazilian playmaker Kaka is keen to return to AC Milan but the clubs are currently way off on their valuation of the 30-year-old, with Real demanding in excess of £20 million and Milan favouring a season-long loan move.
If Real get their way, it could have significant repercussions across Europe.
Real Madrid have no made secret of their interest in Tottenham’s Luka Modric but Spurs are not an easy club to bully and Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is resolutely sticking to his £40 million valuation of the Croatian schemer.
With Madrid currently unwilling to go above £27 million, something has to give or little Luka is likely to be stuck at White Hart Lane for another year. A big money Milan bid for Kaka might finally see Madrid up their offer and, with a little bargaining, convince Tottenham to sell.
Modric’s arrival should free-up the much coveted Nuri Sahin to join Spurs’ bitter north London rivals Arsenal or even Liverpool, while Tottenham are desperate for at least one striker and a goalkeeper, so could use the Modric cash on bid fors Hugo Lloris, Leandro Damiao or Jaoa Moutinho.
The transfer merry-go-round isn’t yet in full swing but it might just take one deal to get it moving.
