Nerazzurri eyeing Mexican starlet.
Internazionale are interested in signing Tottenham forward Giovani dos Santos.
The tricky winger has attracted attention from across Europe with his performances at the Olympic Games, helping Mexico to tonight’s Gold Medal Match against Brazil.
But has struggled in his four seasons at White Hart Lane, making just 18 Premier League starts since arriving from Barcelona in 2008.
The youngster has also has spent three different spells out of loan, despite being consistently brilliant for his country.
Inter coach Andrea Stramaccioni is a big fan of the 23-year-old and believes he could be available for as little as £4 million, according to Inside Futbol.
This seems optimistic, however, with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy a notorious tough negotiator and reportedly ready to demand in excess of £10m for the youngster, who has just 12 months remaining on his current deal with the Lilywhites.
It is not yet known whether Spurs new head-coach Andre Villas-Boas sees Dos Santos as part of his plans at White Hart Lane, but it is understood that the Portuguese wants to give every player a chance to impress, so he is likely to wait until after the Games to decide on Dos Santos’ future.
Dos Santos is out of tonight’s Olympic final with a hamstring injury.
