Anfield to sign long term target.
The word on the grapevine, at least Twitter and a number of reliable sources elsewhere, Liverpool have agreed a deal to sign long term target Gaston Ramirez. By all accounts Brendan Rodgers has captured the Bologna youngster pending the player agreeing terms and a medical being passed.
The 21 year old attacking midfielder would of course become the third Uruguayan at the club, following Luis Suarez and Sebastian Coates to the Merseyside outfit.
Ramirez has been a big success since his move to Serie A two years ago and the 21 year old has been a regular in Bologna’s first team and creating goals and assists aplenty.
Liverpool boss Rodgers will be keen to bring in some new faces and having already brought in Fabio Borini from Serie A and Joe Allen from Swansea City and will hope to complete a third capture from the Italian top tier in the next 24 hours or so.
