Young goal-machine could return to Eredivisie.
Everton and Blackburn remain in the hunt for Manchester City striker John Guidetti but the youngster could return to Feyenoord, where he impressed last season.
The Swede scored 20 goals in 23 appearances whilst on loan at the Dutch club and is attracting interest from across Europe, after City confirmed he could spent the coming season on loan.
Everton have been in discussions with City boss Roberto Mancini about the 20-year-old, after agreeing to sell the Champions Jack Rodwell, while Blackburn are understood to have a had bid for Guidetti rejected.
The youngster’s agent says there are a number of options for the forward but admitted a return to Feyenoord remains a possibility.
“He liked his stay at Feyenoord and enjoyed putting in strong performances for them,” Per Jonsson is quoted saying by the Daily Mail.
“Joining them again is definitely an option, but there are more possibilities.
“We are going to explore all options without rushing and we will surely come to a decision before the transfer window ends at the end of the month.
“We will soon conduct talks with Manchester City and see what is best for John.”
Everton are expected to make a bid for Guidetti and his teammate Adam Johnson this week. It is understood that Mancini guaranteed the Toffees first refusal on the latter when discussing the Rodwell switch.
Blackburn remain in the hunt for the striker after losing new signing Leon Best to a serious knee injury but it is unlikely City will allow Guidetti to drop down to the Championship.
