Toffees latest team to hand trial to wonderkid.
Everton have entered the race for Caen starlet M’Baye Niang after the 17-year-old arrived at Goodison Park for a three day trial, reports the Liverpool Echo.
Niang has already spent time on trial with Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester City this this summer and has been shown around the training facilities at AC Milan, as he takes his time over a summer switch to one of Europe’s biggest leagues.
The France under-21 international attracted attention from across the continent for his performances up front and on the wing for the French minnows and his arrival at Everton represents a major coup for boss David Moyes.
It is understood that Arsenal have seen a £5m bid rejected for the youngster but it is understood that Everton may be able to pay less if they stagger payments.
Spurs, City and AC Milan are also waiting in the wings to pounce on the speedy forward, who scored 5 times in 30 league appearances for Ligue 2 Caen last season.
