Brazilian heading to Old Trafford?
Kaka has been offered to Manchester United on a season-long loan as Real Madrid prepare for the arrival of Luka Modric.
Galatasaray and Kaka’s former club AC Milan have also registered their interest in the 2007 World Player of the Year, but United are the biggest draw for the Brazilian.
Sir Alex Ferguson is giving the 30-year-old serious consideration but has fears about his form and fitness after so many injuries.
Kaka was an unused substitute on Sunday night as Real were held 1-1 by Valencia in their opening game. He has also lost his place in the Brazil squad.

Whilst it is undoubtedly true that Brazilian legend Kaka could benefit from a move to a club who can offer him regular first team football, is that club really likely to be Man United? Yes Sir Alex Ferguson has been looking to add creativity to his midfield, hence his failed move for teenager Lucas Moura, but a move for the 30 year old would be something of a surprise.
The former AC Milan has struggled for form and action ever since Jose Mourinho arrived at the Bernabeu. A lengthy injury lay-off following the 2010 World Cup left Kaka out of the first team picture and the arrival of Mesut Ozil appears to have confirmed his fate.
If Real Madrid do finally sign Luka Modric then Kaka’s Real Madrid career could effectively be over.
Man United could well do with a more direct creative presence in their midfield. At present the players Sir Alex Ferguson has to call upon are more than a little rigid in their approach. Michael Carrick doesn’t get forward all that often but can still unlock defences with a killer pass but rarely weighs in with goals. Paul Scholes is now more suited to a role where he keeps the ball moving and concentrates on breaking up the opposition play.
Anderson is very much in the last chance saloon following two very average campaigns. Darren Fletcher is only just returning from a long term illness and Tom Cleverley is perhaps too raw to be afforded a regular spot in the Man United line-up though he clearly has the potential to make a big impact.
Could Kaka move to Old Trafford? It’s possible but would undoubtedly be one of the surprise moves of the summer and moves to allow the midfielder to leave on loan could be compromised if Mourinho then also opted to loan out Nuri Sahin, it would seem unwise to loan out two players from the same position even in Real Madrid’s expansive squad.
