Loftus Road side linked with move for Polish custodian.
Going Green? QPR shopping for a keeper after new boy Rob’s debut clanger
Gaffe in 5-0 opening-day defeat by Swansea is followed by whispers of talks with free-agent former Celtic and Poland goalie Artur Boruc
Rob Green could find his place as QPR’s No1 goalkeeper under threat – after just one howler.
Poland international Boruc, 32, is a free agent after quitting Fiorentina and would be keen to move to the Premier League.

Whilst Robert Green may have not have had one of his best days as QPR slumped to a 5-0 home defeat to Swansea City, it would be fairly surprising if Mark Hughes made such a knee-jerk reaction to sign another custodian off the back of one performance.
It’s surprising though that Polish international Artur Boruc is without a club given his experience and ability so perhaps another side will look to snap up the former Celtic keeper.
Hughes invested well over the summer and would surely not take one result to heart and re-think his entire strategy, however poor that opening day performance was.
Green is of course well known for dropping the occasional clanger but is on the whole a very able keeper.
32 year Boruc amassed 209 appearances during his five year spell at Celtic but his move to Serie A hasn’t panned out as he would’ve hoped.
