Milan not interested in permanent deal for Kaka.
AC Milan have told Real Madrid they are unwilling to re-sign Kaka on a permanent deal.
The two clubs have been locked in talks over the Brazilian playmaker for the past month, with the player believed to be eager to return to Italy.
Real boss Jose Mourinho has said he is happy for Kaka, 30, to leave the Bernebeu this summer and the midfielder’s chances are likely to be further limited by the imminent arrival of Luka Modric from Tottenham.
But Adriano Galliani, Milan vice-president, says the Serie A giants are unwilling to sanction a permanent deal and there is currently little prospect of them meeting asking.
“The deal depends on Real Madrid,” Galliani told Sky Sport Italia. “They only want to sell Kaka permanently whereas we want him on loan.
“If they change their minds I’m ready to fly to Madrid, otherwise nothing will happen. We have five central midfielders and five wingers and I would say we’re totally covered.”
Galatasaray chairman Unal Aysal had earlier said his club would not be interested in bringing Kaka to Turkey.
“What would Kaka do in this team? Do I really have much of a need for him? We will work in co-ordination with [coach] Fatih Terim to bring important players into the squad,” he said. “If needed, new reinforcements could be made. We are looking at alternatives at left-back.”
