Allardyce says Jarvis business his last.
West Ham are unlikely to offer former star Joe Cole a Premier League lifeline after boss Sam Allardyce confirmed he had finished spending for the summer.
Liverpool winger Cole spent last season on loan at French outfit Lille and is again available for transfer.
West Ham have been linked with a move to re-sign the 30-year-old playmaker on a season-long loan.
But Hammers boss Sam Allardyce says that the club’s £10.75m capture of Wolves winger Matt Jarvis is likely to be his last piece of business this summer, with the transfer window set to slam shut on Friday night.
“We have no more business planned. There will be no one coming in unless someone goes out which is unlikely but possible,” the former Bolton boss told the London Evening Standard.
The Hammers apparent lack of interest leaves Cole likely to remain at Anfield until at least January.
The tricky wide-man was signed on a free transfer from Chelsea two years ago but struggled for form and fitness in his first season on Merseyside, before being loaned out to Ligue 1 outfit Lille last July.
Cole showed glimpses of his best form in France but returned to Liverpool to fight for his place under new boss Brendan Rodgers.
But he has already slipped behind 17-year-old Raheem Sterling in the pecking order at Anfield and is unlikely to see much Premier League game-time this campaign.
