Bernabeu bit-part player makes Loftus Road move.
QPR agree deal to sign Esteban Granero from Real Madrid
QPR have reached an agreement with Real Madrid to sign Spanish midfielder Esteban Granero.
The move is subject to Granero agreeing personal terms and passing a medical.
Granero, 25, made 28 appearances for the Spanish champions last season and has been capped at under-21 level by his country.

QPR co-owner Tony Fernandes has backed Mark Hughes to the hilt this summer and has provided funds for a significant bid that has successfully seen the West London club land yet another big-name signing.
Mark Hughes has brought in a number of high-profile summer additions and then watches as his QPR side got thumped by Swansea City and then collected a point away at Carrow Road and may therefore feel that he could do with one or two further signings before the transfer window slams shut.
The 25 year old has struggled for regular first team football ever since he left Getafe for Real Madrid three years ago, returning to the side he spent he had represented since the age of nine. A move to the Premier League may well interest the former Spanish Under 21 international, especially after the arrival of Luka Modric from Tottenham.
