Giovanni Trapattoni is not a happy man.
Sunderland wide-man James McClean faces the wrath of Republic of Ireland national team boss Giovanni Trapattoni following the wingers decision to take to his twitter account to register his disappointment at being left on the bench during his nation’s narrow win over lowly Kazakhstan.
The tweet, below, was swiftly removed by the 23 year old but not before it became viral will not please the Ireland manager and could well lead to the Black Cats man being dropped by Trapattoni.
The offensive tweet followed a selection of previous posts that had repeatedly stressed McClean’s 100% fitness as if to suggest that the winger was more than aware that he may not see action in Astana and wanted to alert his followers of the fact he was likely to be overlooked by the Ireland boss.
