Goodison Park boss admirer of Stamford Bridge forward.
Belgian source NR claims that David Moyes would seek to land Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku as part of any deal that would see Marouane Fellaini move to Stamford Bridge.
Speculation about the future of the Everton midfielder has been sparked by his apparent decision to plot a move away from the Goodison Park side following comments made by the Belgium international in a recent interview.
David Moyes may feel he has a chance to force Chelsea into offering Lukaku as part of any exchange deal, a player that the West London side may feel ready to offload following an ineffective first season at the club.
Everton would appear to not be short of attacking options at present with the likes of Steven Naismith and Kevin Mirallas joining Nikica Jelavic this summer, however Moyes may feel that Lukaku is one for the future.
The former Anderlecht man was considered one of the hottest prospects in Europe and Chelsea paid a whopping £18m for the teenager last summer but the big forward failed to force his way into either Andre Villas-Boas or Roberto Di Matteo’s first team plans and the 19 year old has been loaned out to West Brom.
Lukaku failed to score in 12 appearances for Chelsea last term but scored within nine minutes of his Baggies debut against Liverpool.
