Big spenders plot move to lure Colombian to Russian Premier League.
Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala have set their sights – and their wallets – on signing Radamel Falcao from Atletico Madrid in January. Anzhi had reportedly offered a whopping €70m for the Colombian striker, but Atletico turned down the offer, telling La Liga club to come back in January.

Radamel Falcao has taken to life in La Liga incredibly well but the Colombian is being repeatedly linked with a move away from his Vicente Calderon side and may well be tempted by a move to Russia, where his former FC Porto strike partner Hulk recently moved this summer.
The 26 year old has netted 42 goals in 53 matches for Atletico Madrid since he moved to the La Liga side just over a year ago and there is said to be growing interest in the lethal finisher from both Chelsea and Real Madrid but this source states that Anzhi can outbid both European giants.
The Dagestan based side, currently managed by Guus Hiddink, already have talents Samuel Eto’o, Lassana Diarra and Yuri Zhirkov in their Dynamo Stadium squad but appear keen to further boost their squad ahead of a renewed push for domestic and Europa League success this term.
