Stamford Bridge star destined to make Nou Camp switch according to former employer.
Belgian source HLN report that Lille president Michel Seydoux has stated that Eden Hazard will move to Barcelona and that the Blues new signing is Lionel Messi’s natural successor.
Such a statement from Seydoux will not be warmly greeted by Chelsea, having only recently paid £32m for the Belgian attacker and the West London side may wonder why the Lille president would feel it appropriate to make such a prediction.
Whilst Hazard has a bright future ahead of him there seems little possibility of an imminent move to replace Messi at Barcelona, not least because the mercurial Argentine is still just 25 years of age, only four years Hazard’s senior.
Though Eden Hazard had an average performance at Loftus Road on the weekend the Chelsea new boy has started life at Stamford Bridge incredibly well, providing four assists in his opening four Premier League appearances as well as bagging a goal in the process.
