Sunday’s action begins with a bang too as Liverpool and Manchester United go head to head at Anfield. There is always an intense rivalry when these two meet and after Liverpool’s poor start, the pressure is on the home side.

This is something Manchester United – who appear in fine form, especially in front of goal – will look to exploit. Sir Alex Ferguson knows how important this match is for the fans and will prepare his team accordingly.

You would expect Liverpool to come out of the blocks quickly as they look to grab the game by the scruff of the neck to try and force their first win of the season. It is the away side that are favourites though and they will look to be clinical when their chances come along.

After this 1.30pm kick-off, there is a bonus Sunday match between Newcastle United and Norwich City. It was originally scheduled for Saturday, but has been moved due to the home side’s Europa League commitments.

We then have another massive match at 4pm with Manchester City hosting Arsenal. This sees the Premier League Champions come up against an in-form Arsenal side that will go into this one full of confidence.

City will have to pick themselves up from defeat to Real Madrid in the Champions League of course, while Arsenal are still unbeaten this season. Arsene Wenger’s new signings are making a real impact too with Lukas Podolski on the score sheet in each of their last three games.

Home advantage means that City are favourites to pick up the three points as not many teams stop them at the Etihad Stadium, but Arsenal will certainly give it a good go and this definitely has the makings of a Premier League classic.

Completing an eventful Sunday in English football’s top flight, there is a London derby between Tottenham and Queens Park Rangers at White Hart Lane as two of the most unpredictable teams in the league go head to head!

It is called Super Sunday for a reason this week, that’s for sure.
