Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is reportedly sitting on a £50m transfer kitty but the Frenchman is reluctant to spend it. Here at CaughtOffside HQ, we love a good spending spree so we’ve compiled a list of ten players Wenger should be targeting between now and the start of next season, just to give him a nudge.

10. Hatem Ben Arfa (Newcastle)
The French winger has become a key part of the impressive Newcastle side assembled by Alan Pardew and is capable of unlocking the most stubborn defensive with his trademark moments of magic. But Ben Arfa is headstrong and ambitious and he won’t be happy if the Toon don’t remain in the hunt for a Champions League place this season. With Andrei Arshavin and Theo Walcott set to leave the Emirates, Wenger will be in the market for a new winger and is a known admirer of his compatriot. Newcastle are likely to demand mega-bucks for their prize-asset, however.
