Ewood Park boss finally leaves.
Steve Kean ‘forced to resign’ as Blackburn Rovers manager
Steve Kean says he has been “forced to resign” as manager of Championship side Blackburn Rovers.
The Scot, 44, has left Ewood Park with immediate effect because his position had become “untenable”, he said in a statement.

It’s a minor miracle that the Scot managed to stay in his Ewood Park post this long but the inevitable has now happened. One wonders whether being ‘forced to resign’ is similar to being sacked.
Having relegated Blackburn Rovers to the Championship Steve Kean had actually started the current campaign fairly well but defeat at home to Middlesbrough looked likely to spell the end for the 44 year old.
For the record Kean won 21 and lost 37 of the 74 games that he managed the Lancashire side.
