Bernabeu backs team-mate at a possible cost to his own career.
This is a very classy reaction from a player who clearly felt his team-mate had been hard done by. Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos, who has been embroiled in an ongoing war of words with Bernabeu boss Jose Mourinho, was so angered by the half-time subbing of German midfielder Mesut Ozil, that he opted to wear the player’s number ten shirt under his own, seemingly ready to reveal the garment if he were to score in the second half.
As it turned out Ramos didn’t net but the image above clearly shows he had every intention to once again rebel against Mourinho and such action may well not go unpunished.
