Anfield and White Hart Lane sides keen on Selhurst Park teenager.
CalcioMercato today report that Liverpool and Tottenham are leading the chase for impressive young Crystal Palace attacker Wilfried Zaha.
The teenage Eagles star has been pursued by prospective Premier League suitors for quite some time now and the England Under 21 has started the current campaign well, leading to speculation that Dougie Freedman may struggle to keep the 19 year old when the transfer window re-opens in January.
Zaha has already amassed 105 appearances for his South London side and certainly has the potential to step up to the top tier. If indeed Tottenham and Liverpool do make approaches for the speedy wide-man then it would be interesting to see which of the two sides he would opt for.
Both Brendan Rodgers and Andre Villas-Boas have reputations for trusting to youth and a lot could well depend on how the two sides are positioned in the Premier League table when those offers are made.
Of the two sides it would appear that Liverpool would be in a far dire need of new wide attacking options because even though youngsters Suso and Raheem Sterling has been effective this term, the likes of Jordan Henderson and Stewart Downing have both failed to make an impact.
Whereas Tottenham have solid first team options in Gareth Bale and Aaron Lennon to call upon to fill the flank roles.
