Turin side want to bring Ivory Coast international back to Europe.
CalcioMercato reports that Serie A pace-setters Juventus will look to tempt Didier Drogba into a European return in January.
The Ivory Coast international only moved to Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua a few months ago but the Turin side may feel they can lure the former Chelsea man back to Europe with the promise of a genuine Champions League challenge and domestic honours.
Juventus went the entire season unbeaten last term to clinch the Serie A title and have won five games in six during the current campaign but could well still need new striking options and boss Antonio Conte, who saw his ten month ban in relation to match fixing reduced to just four meaning he will return to the dugout in December, may well feel that Drogba still has something in the tank.
The 34 year old forward helped Chelsea to clinch the FA Cup and Champions League double last term, scoring goals in both finals and has started well in Shanghai, netting seven goals in ten league games though his side are struggling for form and sit in ninth place in the Chinese Super League table.
