Liberty Stadium playing staff ‘unhappy’ with training methods.
Michael Laudrup is on a collision course at Swansea after key players held a series of secret meetings with chairman Huw Jenkins about the Dane’s management methods.
Despite being 11th in the Barclays Premier League, Laudrup is facing a rebellion among his senior stars after three months at the club.
The latest meeting between chairman and players took place last week as frustrations began to boil over before their 2-2 Premier League home draw against Reading last Saturday.
Swansea players have been angered by Laudrup’s demands for a change to their tactical approach and are reluctant to adopt his methods.

If this accurate then this is not good news for the new Liberty Stadium boss but one wonders how uncovered this player mutiny? Were they contacted by unhappy Swansea City staff, keen to force the Dane out? Or did a Daily Mail journalists choose to make the most of an initial report of a faint murmuring of disapproval.
Apparently the Swansea City players are unhappy with the former Real Mallorca boss’s training methods but clearly this hasn’t had a disastrous affect on the club’s Premier League form, so chairman Huw Jenkins may pay no heed to any issue that may or may not exist.
The Welsh side started the season with three straight wins but have hit a period of average form since but clearly poor morale was not a factor last week as Swansea City battled back from two goals down to rescue a point from their encounter with Reading.
