Emirates Stadium flop finally on his way out.
MAROUANE CHAMAKH is being offered a second chance to return to Bordeaux.
The Arsenal flop, 28, continues to struggle in the Premier League after his free transfer from French football in 2010.
Now the Morocco striker is wanted back — either on loan or a permanent deal — but his £50,000-a-week Gunners wages ma prove a sticking point.
Bordeaux chairman Jean-Louis Triaud said: “There is a serious chance Chamakh could return.
“Money is the key question because salaries in the Premier League are enormous but it’s also necessary for him to play.
“In December 2011 I sent a message to say the door was open for a return but he wanted to stay.
“Now the message is there again with the same objective.”

Gunners fans appear to be moving nearer to the possible departure of a truly woeful member of their Arsenal squad. Though the North London club didn’t spend a single penny on Marouane Chamakh this has not lessened the lack of impact made by the former Bordeaux man and if the Ligue 1 side really are looking to bring the Moroccan international back to the Stade Chaban Delmas the one would imagine Arsene Wenger wouldn’t look to complete any such deal instantly.
After a promising start to his Emirates Stadium career, ten goals in his first four months at the club, Chamakh then felt the pressure as Robin Van Persie made a return to the first team after a period out injured and a lengthy spell of poor form ensued.
Indeed Chamakh scored just one goal in 19 appearances last term and hasn’t played a single minute of Premier League football thus far during the current campaign and is very much surplus to requirements.
Marouane Chamakh proved very successful during his last stint at Bordeaux and could well be tempted by a return to the club he represented for ten years prior to his move to the English top tier.
