Turkish giants want Emirates Stadium star.
Galatasaray chief executive Lutfi Aribogan has revealed out-of-favour Arsenal left-back Andre Santos is on the club’s wishlist but says there has been no contact with the Gunners.
Santos has struggled to make an impact at the Premier League club since joining from Fenerbahce in August 2011.
The 29-year-old Brazilian has taken a backseat to Kieran Gibbs again so far this season amid speculation linking him with a move away from Emirates Stadium.
Aribogan told Turkish sports newspaper Fanatik: “Andre Santos is one of the names (we have) on our list.”

Would the former Fenerbahce man really a) consider leaving Arsenal and b) do so to join the arch rivals of his former club? That’s not something Turkish football fans will take lightly.
The attack minded full-back has become something of a cult hero at the Emirates Stadium but has suffered some off field issues, most recently being arrested following a 130mph car chase and the fact that the 29 year old is struggling to force Kieran Gibbs out of his spot could lead the Sao Paulo born wide-man considering his options.
Santos enjoyed two successful seasons in Istanbul with Fenerbahce, helping the Sukru Saracoglu stadium side to a domestic title in 2010/11 before he left for North London for a fee in the region of £5.8m
Some have questioned the Brazilian’s ability to defend and it does appear that his real value is felt when he is on the attack but Santos has at times dropped a few clangers and he could struggle to force his way back into the side any time soon.
