Bundesliga giants want Bernabeu midfielder.
Bayern Munich are reportedly looking to sign German international Mesut Ozil according to TransferMarketWeb.
The Bavarian side apparently want to bring the Real Madrid man to the Allianz Arena on a temporary deal, one that Real Madrid will surely give short shrift. There has been feint speculation about an apparent falling out between Jose Mourinho and the former Werder Bremen man but that hasn’t prevented the Portuguese boss selecting the 24 year old on a regular basis.
Ozil has been an unmitigated success since his £12m move to Real Madrid in the summer of 2010, notching up assists at an alarming rate and the stylish midfielder was pivotal in the club’s La Liga title success last term and continues to be a crucial member of Mourinho’s starting eleven.
Therefore one wonders how the hell Bayern Munich would think they could persuade the Bernabeu side to allow Ozil leave on a loan deal?
Perhaps Mesut Ozil would at some point consider a return to the German top tier but such a move does not appear to be on the horizon.
Also given Bayern Munich’s 100% start to the current campaign one would also wonder why Jupp Heynckes would feel the need to make any significant additions to his squad in January.
