Emirates Stadium side target talented young attacker.
Arsenal have upped their interest in Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha after watching him at the weekend.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger’s chief scout Steve Rowley watched Zaha in Palace’s 2-1 win at Leicester.
Palace managed to hold onto Zaha in the summer but are likely to receive more interest in the 19-year-old when the transfer window re-opens in January.

Having seen Dougie Freedman leave Selhurst Park for Bolton there may be even more of a chance that Wilfried Zaha will push for an Eagles exit in January. The talented teenager has been in terrific form over the past 18 months and has helped Crystal Palace mount a solid challenge for promotion thus far this season but will surely be tempted by a move to the Emirates Stadium should an official bid be launched by the North London club.
The possible arrival of Zaha could well coincide with the departure of a player he has often been compared to, Arsenal contract rebel Theo Walcott.
Arsene Wenger has regularly opted to scout the English ‘lower leagues’ for talent and the Gunners boss is perhaps one of the Premier League manager’s who does so most frequently. The likes of the aforementioned Walcott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Aaron Ramsey and Carl Jenkinson have all been brought in from the Championship and League One and all have made a real impact at the Emirates Stadium.
Zaha already has amassed over 100 Crystal Palace appearances and though just 19 years of age the Ivory Coast born starlet already has five England Under 21 caps to his name.
