Emirates Stadium side keen on Eagles winger.
Arsenal will launch a £9million move to land Crystal Palace whizkid Wilfried Zaha in January.
The club have watched the 19-year-old, who grew up as an Arsenal supporter, on several occasions this season.
And Arsenal’s interest in Zaha took a step forward last weekend when chief scout Steve Rowley watched the teenager put in a scintillating display against Leicester.

Arsenal will hope that an offer of £9m will alert the South London side but it may not be enough to tempt the Eagles into selling their prized asset.
Arsene Wenger has regularly opted to scout the English ‘lower leagues’ for talent and the Gunners boss is perhaps one of the Premier League manager’s who does so most frequently. The likes of the aforementioned Walcott, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Aaron Ramsey and Carl Jenkinson have all been brought in from the Championship and League One and all have made a real impact at the Emirates Stadium.
Zaha already has amassed over 100 Crystal Palace appearances and though just 19 years of age the Ivory Coast born starlet already has five England Under 21 caps to his name.
Wilfried Zaha impressed many with his consistent displays last term and has further improved this season, helping Crystal Palace to a great start to the Championship campaign. However the departure of Dougie Freedman to Bolton may well play a part in whether the 19 year old considers pushing for a Selhurst Park exit, though the appointment of Ian Holloway could well help allay those fears.
