Craven Cottage side target Standard Liege starlet.
Martin Jol is ready to strengthen Fulham’s midfield with a January move for former France under-21 prospect William Vainqueur.
The Fulham manager has been impressed with a string of forceful performances from the energetic Standard Liege midfielder and is weighing up a £4million bid to bring him to the Barclays Premier League.

Fulham did some good business over the summer but Martin Jol may feel he still needs to strengthen his Craven Cottage squad to make up for the loss of some crucial members of his first team squad.
William Vainqueur is a talented midfielder who left France for Belgium in the summer of 2011 after spending five years in the Nantes first team trying to help the Loires river based side back into the French top flight.
The 23 year old’s performances at Nantes helped to secure a French under 21 cap and a move to Standard Liege, who have started the current campaign in a stop start fashion.
A move to the Premier League may well tempt Vainqueur where Jol could do with midfield additions having seen the likes of Moussa Dembele and Danny Murphy leave the West London club in the summer.
