Etihad Stadium side want Shakhtar Donestk pair.
Manchester City are scouting the two Brazilians who almost brought Chelsea to their knees.
Attacking midfielder Willian, who scored twice, and his sidekick Fernandinho are both now being tracked by City following their dazzling performances at Stamford Bridge.
Willian has long sinced wanted a move to England and was close to joining Spurs in the summer.

Whilst the language used by the Daily Mail is somewhat over the top, after all Chelsea DID beat Shakhtar Donetsk on Wednesday night, it is true that both Willian and Fernandinho did put in strong display at Stamford Bridge and indeed when the two sides met last month in Ukraine.
Roberto Mancini hasn’t fared well in Champions League action this term and it would be fair to say that though Man City are still unbeaten in the Premier League action this season they haven’t exactly set the world alight either.
This may well lead to the Italian looking to spend yet more money to further strengthen his expansive squad and it may take an obscene amount of money to persuade Shakhtar to sell two of their prized assets.
Perhaps Mancini feels his midfield could still do with extra steel, hence the interest in big burly Fernandinho, this despite the fact City bought Javi Garcia AND Jack Rodwell in the summer.
Willian could be the player Mancini wants to add more creativity to his midfield, but again what would such an addition mean for the likes of Samir Nasri and David Silva, both of whom have not had the best of seasons thus far.
