Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho is keeping a close watch on England wonderboy Wilfried Zaha.

Former Chelsea manager Mourinho has sent scouts to check on the Crystal Palace forward this season as the 20-year-old’s meteoric rise has continued.

The Special One is now taking a keen interest in Zaha, subject of a shock call-up by England boss Roy Hodgson for Wednesday night’s friendly against Sweden.

Whilst there is no denying Wilfried Zaha has a great deal of potential and may well mature to be a household name and a top tier performer, there is currently a danger that the Crystal Palace man is being over hyped.

After receiving an England call-up, for a friendly that a whole swathe of Premier League talent has pulled out of, as Roy Hodgson looks to prevent the player from pursuing an Ivory Coast cap, now Jose Mourinho is ‘apparently’ keen on the 20 year old.
