Anzhi want Spanish international.
Check-In to Levante v Barcelona
Russian Premier League side Anzhi are reportedly lining up a mammoth contract offer they hope will lure Barcelona midfield maestro Xavi into moving to the Dagestan based side.
TransferMarketWeb claim that Anzhi
Makhachkala will offer the 32 year old an incredibly €21m (£16m) a year deal that they hope will tempt the Spanish international into leaving the Nou Camp.
That equates to over £300k a week but it’s still not a deal that is likely to succeed.
Xavi Hernandez has represented Barcelona since the age of 11 and is now into his 15th season in the club’s first team and is highly unlikely to consider ever leaving the Catalan giants, regardless of what obscene offer is made to him.
His former Barca team-mate Samuel Eto’o accepted a similar salary offer but any move to capture Xavi Hernandez is doomed to failure.
