Spurs’ interest is justifiable given that left winger Gareth Bale is being tracked by all of Europe’s best clubs. Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas considers the son of former England star Paul Ince to be the best alternative to the Welsh wing wizard.
However, the competition to sign the Tangerines youngster seems high, with Liverpool ready to make a move after Arsenal revealed their reluctance to sell Theo Walcott on January. Ince is now top of Brendan Rodgers’ shopping list, along with Chelsea’s Daniel Sturride and Villarreal’s Giuseppe Rossi.
The Reds’ are likely to make a £6 million offer for the Under-21 International, reports The Daily Mail, which would fall someway short of the bid from North London.
