A move to Anfield or White Hart Lane could be on the cards for French international.
Loic Remy’s agent has put the Premier League on red alert after claiming £10million would be enough to land the Marseille striker.
Tottenham, Liverpool and Newcastle have all tracked the Frenchman in the past but never got past the negotiating stage regarding a fee.
But it now appears as though Marseille are ready to deal at a tempting £10m – with the Premier League trio set to make a move.
And his agent Bruno Satin told Le10Sport: “Marseille needs the money and Remy going could be a solution.
“If they were to get an offer of £10m, the club would let him leave.”
Loic Remy knows where the back of the net is and has finished as Marseille’s top scorer for the past two seasons but new boss Elie Baup doesn’t see the former Nice man as part of his first team plans so it makes sense for the cash-strapped club to look to cash in on the 26 year old.
Liverpool, and to a lesser extent Tottenham, need attacking alternatives and the French international would presumably jump at the chance of a move to the Premier League to re-ignite his ailing career.
Remy has score 27 goals in 69 Ligue 1 appearances for the Stade Velodrome side and managed 28 goals in 74 matches for Nice, form that helped him secure a foothold in the national team.
Brendan Rodgers only has one proven senior striker to call upon, namely the Premier League top scorer Luis Suarez, and the jury is still out on sidelined Italian Fabio Borini. Andre Villas-Boas has steadfastly stuck with in-form England man Jermain Defoe but can call upon summer signing Emmanuel Adebayor and Clint Dempsey, who has been used more frequently, without success, in an attacking midfield role.
