Stamford Bridge and White Hart Lane sides keen on Eredivisie forward.
AZ ALKMAAR star Jozy Altidore has become a surprise target for London rivals Chelsea and Tottenham.
The 23-year-old spent a disappointing spell on loan at Hull three years ago.
But since moving to Holland, Altidore has developed into one of Europe’s hottest properties.

The 23 year old has netted eight goals in nine Eredivisie matches this season and scored 19 times last term and has started to deliver on the promise the big forward has displayed for some years.
The New Jersey born striker struggled for form at Villarreal and didn’t impress during loan spells at Hull City and Bursaspor but is now showing what he is capable of.
This has brought the powerful American to the attention of a number of Premier League sides but one does wonder if Altidore has what it takes to make it at the top end of the English top tier.
Chelsea could well do with alternative attacking options but may feel the need to spend big on proven top level alternatives.
Tottenham have seen Jermain Defoe hit a rich vein of form and Andre Villas-Boas also has the likes of new signings Emmanuel Adebayor and Clint Dempsey to use as back-up but could still see Altidore as a player worth taking a punt on.
