Old Trafford move on the cards for Eredivisie star.
Manchester United are on red alert after Dutch star Kevin Strootman set his sights on a move to the Premier League.
The Red Devils have registered their interest in the £20m-rated PSV midfielder, who is also wanted by Real Madrid and AC Milan.
And Strootman’s agent Chiel Dekker confirmed that the 22-year-old wants a summer move to England.
Dekker told talkSPORT: ‘All the top clubs in Europe know about Kevin, but a move to England next summer is his first priority and, yes, Manchester United and other big clubs in Europe have been in touch with me.’
PSV coach Dick Advocaat admitted earlier this week it’s a matter of when, not if, Strootman moves to one of Europe’s elite clubs.

We have a team stating the very real likelihood that they will lose one of their star performers. We have an agent confirming very real interest from Man United and we have a player who’s first priority is to move to the Premier League. Seems Sir Alex Ferguson is moving towards the capture of a very impressive young midfielder.
22 year old Dutch international Kevin Strootman has been linked with a move away from PSV Eindhoven pretty much from the moment he arrived at the Phillips Stadion. The former Utrecht man has been mighty impressive over the past 18 months, displaying the kind of form that has attracted a host of scouts to watch his every move.
Strootman’s form have made him an ever present in the national team squad and could well lead to an inevitable move to Man United.
Sir Alex Ferguson could well do with freshening up a midfield that is perhaps a little stale. Paul Scholes is nearing the end of an incredible career and Michael Carrick, though consistent, is perhaps not as pivotal a player as he once was. Darren Fletcher is feeling his way back from illness and though Anderson has put in a couple of strong displays the Brazilian is on the whole something of a disappointment.
Tom Cleverley is progressing well but the Old Trafford boss could well be looking to add more steel and purpose to his squad whilst also continuing his youthful transfer policy.
The rangy Dutchman is an excellent box to box performer who is strong in the tackle and has an eye for goal and the £20m valuation seems a very fair one that Man United may well be ready to meet in January.
