Emirates Stadium and Old Trafford sides keen on top young midfield talent.
Arsenal and Manchester United have been alerted after it was revealed that Borussia Dortmund midfielder Mario Gotze has a release clause of £30million.
The Germany international, 20, has excelled in the Champions League this season.
The clause is set to expire in July and a written offer needs to be submitted to the Bundesliga champions by April.

Given that Arsenal have previously offered, and seen turned down, as much as £32m for the Borussia Dortmund midfielder it is perhaps odd that the Bundesliga side allowed a £30m release clause to be including the youngster’s contract.
Arsenal have long been linked with interest in the 20 year old and the huge lead Bayern Munich have opened up at the top of the table may act as a catalyst for another high-profile Westfalenstadion departure, with the likes of Nuri Sahin and Shinji Kagawa both leaving in recent seasons.
The German youngster is now in his fourth season in the Borussia Dortmund first team and was a key member of Jurgen Klopp’s back to back Bundesliga title winning sides and already has 20 international caps to his name and has the potential to continue his upward progression having put in some stellar performances in the Champions League this term.
Though Arsenal have a number of creative midfield talents a fair few of those available to Wenger have suffered with injuries of late with the likes of Jack Wilshere, Mikel Arteta, Tomas Rosicky and Aaron Ramsey all spending time out on the sidelines over the past couple of seasons.
Sir Alex Ferguson’s midfield could well do with freshening up and Gotze would add some much needed creativity to the Old Trafford first team whilst also adhering to the club’s push towards a more youthful transfer policy.
Gotze has racked up 91 appearances for Borussia Dortmund, scoring a healthy 22 goals in the process whilst also securing 20 national team caps for Die Mannschaft.
