Young right-back discusses imminent Stamford Bridge move.
Chelsea close to completing £5m deal for Brazilian right-back Wallace
Fluminense right-back Wallace has confirmed that his £5million move to Champions League holders Chelsea is imminent.
Sportsmail revealed the European champions had been in discussions over a deal for the 18-year-old since March.
‘Now that I’m moving to London I’ll have to learn some English but they are used to this and they will surely help me a lot.
‘I used to follow the Spanish league and its big clubs like Real Madrid but now as I’m moving to Chelsea I’m following the club more closely, especially after the Champions League title.
‘I watch Chelsea games whenever I can, sometimes I can’t watch because I’m playing or concentrated with my team, but I don’t miss a chance to see them playing on TV.’

Youngster Wallace has been something of a long winded purchase for the West London side with details about a possible capture of the teenager being banded about for a good couple of months. Now that the Brazilian has spoken so explicitly about the move one has to imagine a deal is set to be announced.
Chelsea looked set to boost their burgeoning South American ranks with the acquisition of the young Fluminense right-back. The 18-year-old will join compatriots Oscar, Ramires, David Luiz and Lucas Piazon at Stamford Bridge in the new year.
The European Champions spent all summer chasing a new right full-back following the departure of Jose Bosingwa, eventually signing young Spaniard Cesar Azpilicueta.
Carlos Azpilicueta was brought in over the summer and has started to get more of a look in in recent weeks, with Branislav Ivanovic slotting into the centre of Chelsea’s defence, however Wallace is probably a signing that is more for the future than the present.
