Anfield side keen on Feyenoord youngster.
Liverpool are on the trail of Feyenoord defender Stefan de Vrij.
The 20-year-old Holland centre back has also been watched by Chelsea and Arsenal and is in dispute with his club over a contract extension.
His current contract runs out in 2014 but he is reluctant to commit beyond that with increasing interest from England and Germany.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers may well feel the need to strengthen his back-line and having brought in Oussama Assaidi from the Dutch top tier the Anfield side are entering the race to nab another Eredivisie target.
Defender Stefan de Vrij has reportedly turned down two contract offers from his Rotterdam side and this may well force the issue and leave the Eredivisie side open to offers for the young talent.
De Vrij has shown a great deal of quality over the past 18 months, form that has led to a couple of international caps and a £3.5m offer may well be accepted by Feyenoord given that De Vrij will be out of contract in the summer.
