Connor Hunte is considered one of the bright prospects of English football, the England Under 17 international and is a player Chelsea will not want to lose.
The attacking midfielder has been compared to Mesut Ozil and City any interested party would be required to pay the Blues a compensation fee should they put in a genuine offer for the teenager.
Man United have adopted a youthful transfer policy over the past few years and seen the likes of Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Javier Hernandez and David de Gea make instant impacts and Sir Alex Ferguson will hope for similar successes with both Nick Powell and Angelo Henriquez.
Chelsea will be loathed to lose Hunte but until he signs a professional deal he is vulnerable to approaches from interested sides.
