Stadium of Light side keen on underused Liberty Stadium forward.
SUNDERLAND are weighing up a £5m January swoop for Swansea striker Danny Graham.
Black Cats boss Martin O’Neill wants to bring in a midfielder and a forward when the transfer window reopens.
Gateshead-born Graham, who is also a target of Norwich, is the player he’s identified to provide Steven Fletcher with much-needed goalscoring support.

This could be a very wise move for Martin O’Neill to consider, and an inexpensive way to strengthen the threadbare Black Cats attack.
Danny Graham finished as Swansea City’s top scorer last term with 12 goals but the 27 year old has struggled to retain a consistent spot in Michael Laudrup’s staring eleven this season, starting seven of the club’s 14 Premier League matches thus far this season.
The arrival of Spaniard Michu has limited Graham’s involvement and a move to Sunderland may well tempt the Gateshead born striker.
O’Neill brought in Steven Fletcher to beef up his attack and has seen the former Wolves man put in a solid run of form but he is shouldering the goal-scoring burden single-handedly and could well do with support. The Scot has notched up six of the Stadium of Light side’s 12 Premier League goals this term.
