Arsenal ready to make move for £10m Reina as Liverpool consider offloading keeper
Arsenal are ready to step up their bid to land Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is a long-term admirer of the Spanish stopper and is set to make his latest move.
Wenger failed with a £20million offer for Reina back in 2010 but now believes they could land him for half that sum.

This old chestnut.
Arsenal have been strongly linked with interest in Liverpool keeper Pepe Reina for some time and these rumours first started to surface when the Spaniard was dropped by Brendan Rodgers for a couple of matches in between two minor injury set-backs the custodian suffered.
However the 30 year old has since returned to the fold and has been in excellent form, securing three successive clean sheets before Liverpool’s midweek defeat at Tottenham.
Arsenal could well be considering bringing in a more experienced option as both Wojciech Szczesny and Vito Mannone have had indifferent showings this term and Arsene Wenger may well be interested in signing the former Barcelona man but Liverpool are unlikely to listen to offers for Reina.
Polish international Szczesny is clearly a keeper with a bright future but perhaps the addition of a tried and tested alternative will help to bring the most out of the 22 year old.
Perhaps Reina would demand a move if by the end of the season Liverpool were no nearer to recapturing that all important Champions League spot.
