Harry targets winger.
QPR boss Harry Redknapp wants to sign Manchester City flop Scott Sinclair on loan in January, CaughtOffside has learnt.
The 23-year-old winger has barely featured for the Champions since joining in a £6.7m deal from Swansea City in the summer but Redknapp believes Sinclair still has plenty to offer .
The midfielder has made just one Premier League for the Eastlands outfit this season and Sinclair is understood to be eager to play regular first-team football in order to enhance his chances of playing for England.
City boss Roberto Mancini is willing to offload Sinclair on loan in January, particularly if he can land top-target Isco from Malaga.
Redknapp’s side sit rooted to the foot of the Premier League table, having picked up just six points from their opening 15 matches.
The former Spurs boss has overseen two draws in his opening two games and is planning a massive overhaul of the squad in January, with Joe Cole, Darren Bent, Michael Dawson and Peter Crouch all on his new year’s wish-list.
The 65-year-old ‘wheeler-dealer’ believes Sinclair can provide much-needed pace and width to his Hoops’ side and chip in with the goals to help the R’s preserve their top-flight status.
Sinclair is likely to have other suitors in January, with former club Swansea interested in bringing the winger back to South Wales.
